Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL) Reimbursement
LAPPL members who participate in the Allwrite-Testing Written Test Prep Workshop for the 2026 LAPD Lieutenant’s examination may apply for reimbursement of the Workshop fee through the League’s HEAT program.
Participants who complete all four Practice Tests in the Workshop will receive a Certificate of Completion from Allwrite, which is required to be submitted with the application.
In order to receive the Certificate of Completion, you must spend a minimum of one hour on at least one administration of each of the four tests. You do not need to spend one hour all three times you take each test. Also, if you pause while taking a test and finish it later, and the total time spent on the test is more than 60 minutes, that will qualify. You must also answer all 100 questions on each test.
Completion of the Workshop does not guarantee reimbursement. Any and all applications are subject to HEAT program committee review for final approval of reimbursement.
